On this program, we talk with two college presidents. Jack
Noonan is outgoing president of Bloomfield College, an independent,
four-year, coeducational college, and Robert Altenkirch,
is the newly inaugurated president of the New Jersey Institute
of Technology, a public research university located in Newark,
NJ.
We explore such issues as diversity on campus, minority
admissions, the potential for colleges to serve as economic
drivers within the state, and the proposed reconfiguration
of UMDNJ, Rutgers and NJIT. |
