faculty members at Rutgers
Newark, who are shedding light on pressing social concerns
and cultural differences through their research. Charlotte
Thomas Hawkins is an Assistant Professor College of Nursing
Rutgers University and a nationally acclaimed speaker about
race based health disparities in the nation. Tim Raphael
is an Assistant Professor for the Visual and Performing
Arts Department at Rutgers Newark who is teaching students
how to create theatrical productions based on immigrant
oral histories.
