that the media confronts when attempting to create a lively
and informed public dialogue around healthcare issues. The
discussion concerns the media’s coverage of important
health issues at both the state and federal level. The panel
explores how the media can better communicate and coordinate
coverage of important health issues affecting the public-at-large.
Additionally, it considers what barriers that impede the
