Program Description
It’s hard to be energy efficient when most municipal buildings have heating, air-conditioning, and lighting systems that are 20-30 years old. But most municipalities cannot afford to upgrade their buildings without raising taxes. New federal and state incentive programs are beginning to turn that around. Spending less on energy translates directly into savings for beleaguered taxpayers.
