we look at geriatric care, specifically dealing with the
psychological side to aging and what is being done to aid
seniors during their golden years. The panel discussion
covers memory lapses, dementia, depression, alcohol addiction,
loss of independence, the effect of aging on the family,
access to care and the financial burden of treatment. The
panel includes two geriatric psychiatrists, a psychologist,
social worker and a senior citizen.
